Miguel has developed his neuroresearch career under Prof. Carmen Sandi, Director of Brain Mind Institute-EPFL in Switzerland, studying the key neurobiological mechanisms connecting stress and psychopathology.
Moreover, Miguel has over 10 years professional experience as an executive search consultant and entrepreneur in the healthcare sector.
Miguel holds a Doctorate in Neuroscience from Complutense University of Madrid, an Executive Master in Business Administration from San Pablo CEU Business School of Madrid, and he has published in several top journals such as Journal of Neuroscience and Biological Psychiatry, among others.
Dr. Gonzalo París – Vicepresident
Dr. Paris has made compatible both, Academia and Industrial activities until his full dedication to the Pharmaceutical Industry for the last 34 years. He started working for the Spanish Abelló, SA company and then for several multinational companies such as Beecham SA, ICI SA, Glaxo SA, Glaxo Wellcome SA (GW) and GlaxoSmithKline SA (GSK). He moved through different positions and Departments such as R&D, Regulatory, Pricing and Reimbursement, Quality and Government Affairs. He lead the Metabolism European Business Team at GW and the Scientific Division for the last 27 years at GSK as Scientific Director, Vice-President and member of the Spanish Executive Board with national and international responsibilities.
Dr. París carried out research and teaching activities at the Biochemistry Department, Pharmacy Faculty, Complutense University, Madrid and at the St Bartholomew’s Teaching Hospital in London. Currently he is Researcher Honorary Professor at the Alcala University, Madrid.
Dr. París holds a PhD in Biochesmistry and he is graduate in Pharmacy, Clinical Biochemist Specialist , Pharmaceutical Industry Specialist & Qualified in Executive Management by IESE Business School.
Iñaki Larraya – CTO & CDO
Biomedical Engineer, MBA
Iñaki is a biomedical engineer with extensive experience in the mobile health sector. He also has more tan 20 years profesional experience in different roles in engineering, manufacturing, prototyping, and quality management companies.
He has worked as a consultant for both national and international healthcare corporations, offering custom solutions in the design, development and certification of mhealth solutions.
Iñaki holds a MS in Biomedical Engineering and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Public University of Navarra, Spain, and a Master in Business Administration, Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Jaime Chamorro – Scientific Director
Jaime has worked as Psychiatrist in several hospitals such as the University Hospital Fundación Jiménez Díaz, Madrid, where he is the current Head for the Anxiety Unit, and Coordinator of the Psychiatric Unit at the Neurological Hospital Fundación Instituto San José, Madrid, Spain. Moreover, he is Associate Professor of Psychology at Camilo José Cela University, Madrid, Spain.
He has been a Research Scientist Observer in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University, New York, and collaborator at Yale University, USA, investigating impulsivity, addictions and anxiety disorders.
Jaime holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Alcala de Henares University, Madrid, Spain, and then he specialized in Psychiatry at 12 Octubre Hospital, Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Pedro Bermejo – Medical Director

Pedro has more than 10 years of clinical experience in the field of Neurology and Neuroscience, currently working as a Neurologist at Puerta de Hierro University Hospital of Madrid, Spain.
He’s also the President of the Spanish Brain Damage Association and the Spanish Neuroeconomy Association, and Lecturer in several universities.
Pedro is Graduated in Medicine and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Autonoma University of Madrid. He has specialized in Neurology from the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital of Madrid, Spain.
Javi Otero – Technical Researcher

Javi Otero is an interdisciplinary artist, contemplative researcher, sonoceutical engineer, and biomimetic inventor. Javi develops non-linear algorithms inspired by nature´s fractal dynamics, hoping they might result in less invasive and more bioavailable stimulation protocols.
Javi studied BA programs in Political Science, Humanities, Photography and Digital Imaging, and graduated with triple distinction in Music Technology from the University of Brighton, East Sussex, UK.
His innovative contribution to the field of biostimulation has been twice awarded with inclusion in the Trans Tech top 200 list.

Pablo is an experienced psychotherapist specialized in psychological trauma approach. Moreover, in the Wellness field he is a trainer and counsellor in stress reduction and emotional management for therapists and organizations at international level.
Pablo is a HeartMath Certified Trainer in Cardiac Coherence, and he is the Director of the Spanish Institute of Psycho-physiological Coherence (IECP).
He holds a BS in Clinical Psychology and a MS in Psycho-oncology and holds a Postgraduate in Psychopathology.

Prof. Carmen Sandi
Prof. Sandi is the Director of the Brain Mind Institute, Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne, EPFL, Switzerland, where she is also the Head of the Laboratory of Behavioral Genetics.
She works on the interplay between genes, brain function and behavior, and her work focuses on the impact of stress on cognitive function and psychopathology, as well as on the mechanisms implicated on stress actions.
Prof. Sandi has served in several boards of scientific societies, currently acting as President-elect for the European Federation of Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and council member for the Swiss Society for Neuroscience. Previously, she was the President of the European Brain and Behavior Society, EBBS.
Dr. Enrique Baca
Dr. Baca is the Head of the Psychiatry Department of the Jiménez Díaz Hospital of Madrid, Spain, as well as Asociate Professor of Health Science of the Autonoma University of Madrid, and Adjunt Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University, New York, USA.
Dr. Baca has over 100 peer reviewed publications, several in top journals, regarding with mental health, suicide, affective disorders, , genetic, epidemiology, data mining and eHealth..
Dr. Baca has received more than 20 honors and awards including the AEP (Association of European Psychiatrists) Research Prize and 2 NARSAD Grants that are one of the highest distinctions in the field of mental health research.

Dr. Vega is currently Professor of Anatomy and Human Embryology at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Dr. Vega is an outstanding researcher in the field of the periferic nervous system and sense organs.
Dr. Vega has worked on several leading international universities sucha as Universities of Brno and Prague in the Czech Republic, and the Universities of ” La Sapienza “of Rome and Messina in Italy, and University of Harvard, Cambridge, USA.
Dr. Vega is the co-author of more than 250 scientific articles JCR and author of 35 book chapters.
Dr. Iñaki García de Gurtabay
Dr. García de Gurtubay is the Head of the Sleep Disorders Unit, Clinical Neurophysiology Department at Hospital of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain.
Dr. García de Gurtubay is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Public University of Navarra and Project Consultant as Expert in Biomedical Technology at Institute of Health Carlos III, Madrid, Spain.
Dr. García de Gurtubay has published more than 200 papers JRC publications and is a reviewer of several international scientific publications. He is also a member of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN).
Dr. David Calvo
Dr. Calvo, MD, PhD, is a Consultant in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at University Hospital of Asturias, Spain.
Previously, Dr. Calvo was a Research Fellow in Experimental Cardiac Electrophysiology, at the Center for Arrhythmia Research at the Up-Sate New York University, USA. Thereafter, he was a Fellow in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Unit of the University Hospital Gregorio Marañón, Madrid, Spain. He is accredited by the European Heart Rhythm Association and the Spanish Society of Cardiology as a qualified interventional cardiac electrophysiologist since 2010 and he was awarded by the Cardiac Electrophysiology Society, USA, as the best research project presented in 2012 under the title: “Phase- and Frequeny-Domain Analysis of the Surface ECG Localizes Arrhythmogenic Sources of Ventricular Fibrillation in Humans.”
Dr. Calvo is Graduated in Medicine at the University of Oviedo, Spain, and he completed his training in Cardiology at University Hospital of Asturias, Spain. He holds a PhD in Medicine from the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain), he is graduated in Statistics for Biomedical Science (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain) and also holds a Master Degree in Cardiac Electrophysiology
from the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain).
